The forest kindergarten and its history

September 2004
The integrative nature and forest kindergarten at the Samainhof is the first forest kindergarten to open its doors in Holzheim near Parsberg in the Upper Palatinate and since then has successfully accompanied many generations of kindergarten children at their start in life.

September 2012
Since then, the nature and forest kindergarten has been state-funded, after it had to be financed exclusively from parents' contributions, donations, membership fees in the sponsoring association and a lot of voluntary commitment by the educational staff.

September 2014
Our kindergarten celebrated its 10th anniversary under the patronage of the Deputy District Administrator Mr. Mayor Bauer von Parsberg.
In his touching speech, Mr. Bauer acknowledged the valuable work of the nature and forest kindergarten at the Samainhof in very appreciative words and thanked them for the exemplary commitment and the professional pedagogical work that is done here.

September 2016
This year, too, the kindergarten received recognition and appreciation of its work from politicians at the inauguration of the round hall of the Samain Foundation for Healing Riding, on the occasion of which the deputy district administrator, Mayor Bauer, found words of greeting and thanks for the valuable work of the nature and forest kindergarten at the Samainhof , which festively framed the celebration with performances by the kindergarten children.

May 2021
On the occasion of the "Day of Child Care", the head of the nature and forest kindergarten was invited by the mayor of the city of Parsberg, Mr. Bauer, to a celebratory ceremony, at which he spoke with very appreciative words not only to the other Parsberg kindergartens but also to the pedagogical team of the and forest kindergarten at the Samainhof for the valuable pedagogical work that is being done here.
